Middle East Children's Alliance (MECA)
The Middle East Children's Alliance (MECA) is a nonprofit organization working for the rights and well being of children in the Middle East by delivering aid, supporting community programs in Palestine, providing university scholarships, and educating people in the US about the lives and rights of children in the region.
MECA received a grant from our foundation for the Maia Project: An ongoing initiative to address one of the worst features of Israeli occupation—the systematic deprivation of clean water—by providing funds to install drinking water units in schools, kindergartens and pre-schools throughout Gaza.
